A LIGHT festival that illuminated the city in February is returning to the city in 2026 - and it'll be bigger than ever.
-
‘The Birmingham Light Festival will take place between February 12-15 next year, lighting up neighbourhoods around town with spectacular art pieces.
Last year glowing artworks drew 64,000 visitors who enjoyed the art in each of the city’s business improvement districts.
Lights went up in the city centre's Colmore, Central, Southside, Westside and Jewellery Quarter neighbourhoods. It included 11 pieces, three of which have remained as legacy pieces, including the Alright Bab sign near Snow Hill, which has become a meeting place for the community since its installation.
