AN amateur golfer achieved the seemingly impossible after bagging two hole-in-ones in the same round - beat- ing odds of 67,000,000/1.

Double delight as golfer bags two holes-in-one

Gavin Bourne

Gavin Bourne, 47, hit two perfect tee shots during a 36-hole final at Droitwich Golf Club.

Battling fellow golfer Tom Ainge to be crowned champion, Gavin slotted his first ace on the third hole.

He aimed his 6-iron from 175 yards and belted a shot which landed on the green - but to his amazement rolled into the hole.

Then just 12 holes later the seemingly impossible happened again and he hit another - using his 5-iron to strike a clean ball from 187 yards on the 15th hole.

The dad, from Droitwich, Worcestershire, couldn't believe his luck and said he was left speechless by the two wonder shots on September 21.
