Birmingham Mail
|September 02, 2025
A PENSIONER who was jailed for a series of sex offences has died while serving his sentence at HMP Birmingham.
Colin Price was sent to prison for 14 years in November 2023. But now it has emerged that the 85-year-old died at West Heath Hospital on January 23.
A Birmingham inquest found he suffered from lung diseases known as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The hearing last month found he died from natural causes.
