Second man charged in connection with rape of girl, 12

A SECOND man has been charged after an investigation was launched into the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl in Warwickshire.

Warwickshire Police have issued an immigration statement after a report that two men charged in connection with the alleged incident in Nuneaton are Afghan migrants.
Mohammad Kabir, 23, has been charged with kidnap, strangulation and aiding and abetting rape of a girl under 13. He appeared in court on Saturday, August 2, and was remanded into custody.
A 23-year-old man, Ahmad Mulakhil, has already been charged with rape.
The force has appealed to anyone who was in the Cheveral Street area between 8.30pm and 9.45pm on Tuesday, July 22, who saw anything of interest to please come forward.
Issuing a new statement, Warwickshire Police said: “There's been some questions about what we do and don't release as part of a high-profile investigation such as this.
