Reckless driver filmed going wrong round busy island

A DRIVER was caught on camera driving the wrong way around a Birmingham roundabout.

The Seat Leon driver was captured in shock footage gathered by the Birmingham Mail over a course of a three-month period on the city’s roads.

The Birmingham Mail has submitted the footage to West Midlands Police as part of Operation Snap.

In dashcam footage, caught from the rear end of the car, the Seat driver was seen avoiding queueing to go around the roundabout for the third exit, and shooting off to the right, on the wrong side of the road.

By chance, there were no drivers in the oncoming lane, but if there had been, the outcome might have been different.

The white car was captured driving recklessly from Swanshurst Lane to Wheelers Lane.
