A BBC documentary on Ozzy Osbourne was pulled just hours before it was due to be broadcast.

Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home was due to air on BBC iPlayer and BBC One at 9pm last night. But the one-off, hour-long documentary was replaced by Fake or Fortune.

A spokesperson for the BBC said the "film has moved in the schedules" and new premiere details will be shared "in due course".

Birmingham-born singer Ozzy was one of the founding members of heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath.

He died at his Buckinghamshire home on July 22, aged 76, just 17 days after reuniting with Sabbath for a farewell gig - with an array of other famous rock bands - at Villa Park.

Devastated fans made pilgrimages to shrines in Birmingham, which were viewed by Ozzy’s family as his funeral cortege travelled through the city centre on July 30.
