McGinn gets tough love from boss

SKIPPER John McGinn has hailed Unai Emery’s impact on his career and admits he has a love-hate relationship with the Villa manager.
McGinn struggled for form under former head coach Steven Gerrard but Emery's arrival gave him a new lease of life.
The 30-year-old has played a key role in Villa’s rapid rise under the Spaniard.
“He said the other day that he hates me sometimes. I said that I hate him. We don’t. We've got a love-hate relationship,” said McGinn.
