A MAN was arrested and a car seized after a fatal hit-and-run collision in Birmingham.
A 34-year-old man died in hospital after he was stuck by a vehicle at a pedestrian crossing outside Longbridge railway station in Longbridge Lane at 11.15pm on Sunday.
He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital but died later.
West Midlands Police yesterday revealed a 40-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
The force had earlier issued an appeal to trace a Jaguar I-Pace vehicle with the registration plate BO03 DGE.
