BRUM BRACED FOR WEEKEND OF FESTIVITIES TO CELEBRATE PRIDE
IT will be bold, brash, colourful and loud!
Birmingham Pride this weekend will celebrate equality and justice for the LGBTQ+ community.
Over two days, more than 75,000 people are expected to participate in or watch the annual parade as it travels through the city.
More than 40,000 are expected to attend the festival site, in the heart of the Gay Village, where music stars will perform for the crowd.
While the majority of the festivities take place on Saturday and Sunday, there will also be a free community event at Smithfield Live today.
