COUNCILLORS SET TO 'VISIT' PUB GARDEN OVER 'JARRING' ADDITIONS
A LANDLORD is fighting to keep an illegally built outdoor bar area and big screen at his Midland pub.
Solihull planners have postponed a decision on whether to allow the screen at the village pub near Solihull.
They will now visit the Brickmakers Arms in Balsall Common before their final verdict early next year.
The saga began after the Station Road pub put up a two-metre fence, outdoor bar area and a big screen on a raised platform, pictured inset.
Landlord Kevin McKloskey did not have permission so applied for retrospective consent - but this was refused in March.
