‘Job done’ note traps flytipper

INCRIMINATING NOTEBOOK CONNECTS MAN TO PILE OF WASTE
A MIDLAND flytipper who illegally dumped a pile of filth was hauled through the courts after leaving tell-tale evidence at the scene.
Brendon Garner was caught out by a note which had details of a rubbish collection and the words ‘£250 DONE’
It was contained in a haul of garden, household, and building waste he abandoned in Wolverhampton.
Garner, of Blaze Park in Kingswinford, was found guilty of controlling a vehicle responsible for flytipping offences and ordered to complete 180 hours of unpaid work with 20 rehabilitation days.
He was also banned from driving for six months, ordered to pay costs of £1,000 and his vehicle was seized.
