COMEDY AND CORRIE. JACK CARROLL TALKS TO MARION MCMULLEN ABOUT TOURING WITH NEW STAND-UP SHOW THE FALL GUY

their help and time. I've been really, really lucky in that regard.

A lot of people that I really like, and have been a big fan of, have been kind and helpful with their advice and wisdom.

Jason Manford put me on stage when I think I was 11. It was a gig at St George’s Hall in Bradford in front of 2,500 people.

(Laughs) Fair play to Jason. I don’t know whether I would have that amount of faith in an 11-year-old comic supporting me on my new tour.

Jason is still a good pal and I'm very grateful for that early experience. One of those things about starting young is that you are impervious to the stage fright a little bit. I just enjoyed it.

What is your strongest memory of appearing on Britain's Got Talent in 2013?

Probably the one that sticks out is the lady who invaded the stage during my semifinal and threw some eggs at Simon Cowell.

That was a very tense moment that, thank God, I managed to diffuse with a joke.
