I set out to write my most honest show to date. I know how to do funny with my eyes closed. Now I want to look at what it is like to live in a post-truth world.

There are so many great things about social media but when you see people comment without knowing any facts it’s really disturbing. I don’t want to know what people who know nothing think.

One of my unpopular opinions is that I think people should have to pass a test before they're allowed to vote. There's a through line and I’m not so afraid of the silences, which I used to be. I used to think I've got to keep everyone laughing all the time, but this is a different beast. The silences and deeper moments are sometimes more effective than the jokes.
