Fury as school disciplines cancer boy's shaved supporters

FAMILIES were left furious after students were disciplined for shaving their heads to support their mate diagnosed with cancer.

A group of lads from Newark Academy, in Nottinghamshire, backed their friend who was hit with the devastating news that he had testicular cancer and is now undergoing chemotherapy.

Parents couldn't believe their ears when they were informed that their sons’ show of solidarity breached school policy, leading to the boys allegedly being segregated and excluded from their much-anticipated end-of-year prom.
