'I LONG TO WAKE UP FROM A NIGHTMARE'
THE heartbroken family of a Midland dad-of-six murdered by his 'abusive' ex-girlfriend have spoken of their anguish over his tragic killing.
Louis Price was stabbed to death with a kitchen knife in his parents' home on Christmas Day by 'jealous' former partner Kirsty Carless.
He was left bleeding to death on the conservatory floor after suffering a 12cm-deep wound to his chest, which pierced his heart.
Stafford Crown Court heard how the 'manipulative' killer launched a 90-second attack on Louis after seeing him on Tinder following their split.
Louis' dad Graham Price said news of his son's death 'changed his world forever. He described Louis as his 'fishing buddy' and said his heart aches everyday as he longs to 'wake up from a nightmare'.
In a statement read to the court, Graham said: "Never will I hear “grab the net dad”
