Cycle route to go up a gear with £500k safety work

RESIDENTS CONSULTED ON PLANS
RESIDENTS can have their say on plans to make a Solihull cycle route safer ahead of planned improvements costing around £500,000.
In 2022 the cycleway track - going in both directions - was installed on the key route of Blossomfield Road between its junction with Dorchester Road and Widney Lane.
Later further changes were made improving signage, creating ramps at bus stops for pedestrian and cycle movements and the use of wands to separate cyclists and vehicles at junctions.
