Child victims of 'sextortion' speak out over horror cases
Birmingham Mail
|April 12, 2025
SCHOOL children have spoken of their horrifying sextortion experiences online, leaving them suffering panic attacks, flashbacks and 'crying on the floor'.
-
In one incident, a 16-year-old boy believed he was speaking to a girl online as all photos and videos were of the same person.
After convincing him to send nude images, he was told to pay up, or face the photos being released. In another, a girl aged 14 was tricked into sending intimate images to a blackmailer posing as a 15-year-old.
