PATRICK Roberts created two goalscoring chances, one of which was taken by Lyndon Dykes and another wasted by Kyogo Furuhashi. Ethan Laird cut off Swansea's threat down their left, Tommy Doyle was busy and Kyogo found himself in positions to score.

While Dykes got the glory, Roberts was the architect of Blues' win. The quality of his cross from the right was befitting of his status as a Premier League player at Sunderland last month.
