Albion favourite nails down place in grand STYLE

The 24-year-old has cemented his place at left-back and become a firm fans’ favourite for his tough tackling, lung-bursting runs and aerial ability, despite not being the tallest.

Asked if he is playing some of the best football of his career to date, Styles told the Birmingham Mail: “I don’t know. The season where we got play-offs at Barnsley I thought I was playing good but I feel like my whole game has developed a lot more since then.

“It’s just working hard, having good coaches round me and having the platform the club has to then play good football. I feel like I haven’t had the best of luck in my career, it’s been a bit all over the show at times, but now I've got that little bit of stability, I can go and express myself. I know I can play better football. I know I can do more.
