Toffees settle fast at new home

Everton have enjoyed a successful start at their new Hill Dickinson Stadium with a spirited 2-0 win over Brighton in the Premier League followed by a similar score against Mansfield Town in the League Cup.

The Toffees will be relieved that they have cleared the first hurdle that comes with moving to a new stadium. Fans tend to have fond memories of their previous stadiums and if things go wrong at their new abode it can create a problem, However, there have been positive vibes coming from the Everton fans since their move from Goodison Park, which bodes well for the future.

Everton supporters are said to be very happy with the improved facilities at the new stadium, which has a capacity of 52,769 and of course it helps if results go their way.

After narrowly losing away at Leeds United in their opening game, the win over Brighton proved vital. Manager David Moyes said the result was “everything the club could have wished for” He added, “the atmosphere was really good. We have to build on it”
