Supreme Court cuts fine for Philip Morris

The Supreme Court has reduced the fine against Philip Morris Trading (Thailand) Co Ltd in a long-running customs fraud case from 130 million to 20 million baht.

The verdict for the case was delivered yesterday. The company was accused of importing foreign-manufactured cigarettes into Thailand with the intent to evade excise taxes.
