EC urged to look into Pheu Thai scheme

Ruangkrai Leekitwattana has petitioned the Election Commission (EC) to lookinto the Pheu Thai Party's “Nine New Millionaires a Day” scheme, which was unveiled at a major campaign rally in Bangkok on Friday.

Mr Ruangkrai said the EC should check whether the scheme had been properly reported to the election agency as required by regulations governing campaign pledges involving public spending.
