Minister denies rumours of Cambodian deportations
Bangkok Post

Labour Minister Treenuch Thienthong yesterday denied a rumour that Cambodian workers in Thailand are to be deported on Feb 13 due to work permit issues.
Ms Treenuch said migrant workers from Laos and Vietnam, not Cambodia, will only be allowed to work until Feb 13, 2026.
However, according to a cabinet resolution this month, the deadline for those from Laos and Vietnam has been extended to Feb 13, 2027, instead.
