SGST dept finds Rs 112cr tax evasion by Alkesh Pedhadiya; issues LOC
The Gujarat State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) Department has exposed a Rs 560 crore bogus billing racket allegedly operated by Jamnagar-based chartered accountant Alkesh Pedhadiya. The scam, involving fake invoices and fraudulent Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims, resulted in tax evasion of around Rs 112 crore.
