Hiring professional tenders at Rs 2,000-5,000 per session; farmhouse gatherings safer in dry state

- Kuldeep Tiwari @ahmedabadmirror.in

This New Year Eve, youngsters in the city are choosing hookah parties at homes and farmhouses over liquor celebrations as it is considered a relatively safer option in the state where liquor is prohibited.

They are hiring professional hookah tenders who know the art of making different types of hookahs and keep serving guests throughout the party.

According to a hookah service provider, they supply at least four to five hookahs to make it economically viable as they travel to farmhouses mostly located on city outskirts.

Rs 2,000-5,000 per session

Usually, they charge Rs 1,200 to Rs 2,000 per hookah depending on size and number of flavours. But during New Year Eve and the extended weekend, they are charging between Rs 2,000 and Rs 5,000 per hookah for a 90-minute session.
