Directs authorities to expedite admin work to ensure NRI couple residing in Australia can bring the children to Victoria
The Gujarat High Court, in a judgment prioritising the welfare of children, has directed authorities to expedite the recognition of an inter-country adoption involving twin girls.
The ruling, delivered by Justice Hemant M. Prachchhak, cleared the administrative hurdles faced by an Indian-origin couple residing in Australia who wanted to bring their deceased relative's children to their home in Victoria.
