In front of more than 70 of Saracens Women’s former players, Alex Austerberry’s side put on a clinic, with eight tries to keep the chance of a home semi-final in their own hands.
Player of the match, England fly-half Zoe Harrison, felt her side had been able to shake of some of the rust, having been away on international duty for two months.
“It wasn’t perfect at times but it’s great to be back wearing red and black,” she said. “It was great to be back with the girls and having our names on the back of our shirts, it meant young girls in the crowd could see who we are and aspire to be like us.
