NWACH US GO, SAYS IRON MAN

NATIONAL LGE SOUTH

Nobody found the net more times at Steps 1-4 of the Pyramid last season with the 28-year-old rattling in 49 goals in all competitions for AFC Sudbury.

That saw the Yellows win promotion through the Isthmian Division One North play-offs to return to Step 3.

But the in-demand former Coggeshall Town and Marlow striker is making another step up after signing for the National League South outfit along with his Suds teammates from last season, Reggis Lambe and Joe Grimwood.

And Nwachuku says seeing Braintree make the playoffs last season combined with hearing former team-mates rave about the ex-Sudbury joint-boss Harrop sealed the deal in his mind.

“It was the manager and what they achieved last season,” he told The NLP. “He was also at Sudbury previously and the boys who played under him spoke very highly of him.
