FORMER Yorkshire Amateur player-coach Joel Hughes is relishing the chance to be the boss at Earlswood Town – and has promised to do the club proud.
The 39-year-old takes over at the Midland League Division Two club from Tom Reynolds, who resigned last month.
The former Crystal Palace academy graduate is a familiar face at The Pavilions having made 43 appearances, scoring nine times, for the Earls between 2019 and 2022.
Hughes said: “I’m delighted to be joining Earlswood Town, a team very close to my heart.
