Under his leadership, India witnessed a 90% increase in electricity capacity over the past decade, reaching 475 GW in 2025, with a target of 900 GW by 2032. The share of clean energy has grown from 32% in 2014 to 49% in 2025, with solar capacity alone expanding from 2.82 GW to 100 GW. Nuclear energy is also receiving a strong push, with the government targeting 100 GW by 2047, supported by the ₹20,000 crore Nuclear Energy Mission focused on indigenous Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).
