At MAXIM, we've been fans of EcoFlow for quite some time. The company has earned a reputation for producing quality products, mostly in the portable power station space. Powerful, durable and feature-rich, we've been using them for years on our camping trips to do everything from power lights to charging phones, fridges, toasters and more. As well as get through the odd blackout at home. The company's 2025 lineup builds on this strong foundation, offering more flexibility and improved efficiency for those who want power on the road - be it for camping, worksites or hobbies like drones - or backup power for homes under threat from natural disasters. Here's three of our favourites.

RIVER 3 MAX

The entry level power station from EcoFlow is the RIVER series. It comes in three variants; the RIVER 3 (245Wh), the RIVER 3 Plus (286Wh) or the RIVER 3 Max (572Wh). We're a fan of the latter, as despite the big bump up in capacity, it remains under $800 here in Australia, or even cheaper if you can pounce on one of the Member Festival sales. The modular design effectively takes the RIVER 3 Plus and allows you to "max" it out with an attachable extra battery. It gives it a quirky, unique look, but it's all about functionality.
