British cooking maestro Jamie Oliver will celebrate his 50th birthday on May 27.

For more than half his life, and before he became internationally famous in his early twenties, one woman has been firmly by his side. Over the years Jamie has called his wife Jools, also 50, his “soulmate” and an “amazing human”. As he reaches this important milestone, it’s safe to say he couldn’t have done it all without Jools by his side.

Jamie met Juliette ‘Jools’ Norton when they were at high school together – and they married in June 2000.

They now have five children together and are worth an estimated $500 million.

Recently, Jamie opened up on how his life changed after he was cast in UK cooking series The Naked Chef in 1999, when he was just 24.
