Spa-style luxury was top of Sharon Moore's wishlist when designing her jungle-inspired bathroom

As a serial renovator, Sharon Moore wasn't daunted by the massive project she was about to undertake in her new home. In fact, she admits to finding the start of a new reno exciting. ‘I always choose a house that needs a complete revamp as I hate paying for someone else’s taste. I prefer to inject my personality into my home,’ Sharon explains. ‘The fact this house is opposite my daughter was also a big selling point.’

THE PROJECT

The whole property needed a top-to-toe refit — even the roof came off at one point so Sharon moved out while the works got underway. The old-fashioned green bathroom and separate loo were first on the to-do list and Sharon knew exactly what she wanted in the new design from the off. With must-haves including a generous walk-in shower and luxurious tub positioned under the window, Sharon knew a complete rejig was the only way to bring her vision to life.
