It went from junk zone to stylish home office'

Using clever DIY hacks, Annika O'Connor turned her dumping-ground of a garage into a multifunctional space that can grow with her family

When Annika and Johnny came to view this house, they both agreed that the integrated garage would be far more useful incorporated into the rest of the property.

‘Every room needed work of some kind, but after moving in we realised the car was never in the garage — we stored junk in there instead,’ explains Annika. ‘So, we decided to prioritise the messy job of knocking through to add the extra space to our home, before starting work on the rest of the house.’
