We weren’t looking for a certain kind of structure or style—part of the excitement was not knowing what might come up!” exclaims textile designer Sanjay Garg, founder of Raw Mango, when describing the Art Deco-style once-upon-a-time residential bungalow in Chennai which now houses his fifth flagship boutique. “Like all our stores, this one is also designed and built to be a gallery that seamlessly blends our collections and fascinations, along with the products,” points out architect and visual creative director, Adityan Melekalam, who collaborated on the store’s design.
