GREIGE AND GORGEOUS

Draped in warm grey, this 2,000 sq ft minimal haven is layered with monochromatic tones and punches of greens and blues. What started off as a bare shell was transformed into a stark yet urbane space with Jason's quintessentially monochrome brush. This home for five is peppered with passages, “These long passages were quite challenging because of their length and scale, plus we had to make them look interesting without it looking too monotonous or over the top,” reveals Jason as we walk through passage number one at the entry, which is adorned with a metal sculpture by White Domus that acts like a layout compass mounted on the wall, the left of which leads to the four bedrooms.

Just as you are admiring the undulating surfaces of this piece of art, your gaze is held by what is possibly the smallest yet most dramatic space of the apartment — the powder room. Clad with brown 3D tiles that imitate warm wood placed in a herringbone pattern, fitted with black and grey fittings and completed with wooden finish tiles on the floor, it affirms the saying of “good things in small packages”.
