Sanchit Arora steers Renesā through an unconventional route with a firm eye on the future while paying homage to the foundation laid by his father, Sanjay Arora

It was a slow morning at the square in Vasant Vihar. Traces of life appeared every now and then. I am told this is quite in contrast to the shiny, busy shrug it will wear later in the evening. Dotted with some of the coolest restaurants, a majority of them here have been designed by the hospitality kings of the North, Renesa, who also have their studio right in the heart of this court.

We make our way to the stylish restaurant, Call Me Ten (also designed by Renesā), where Sanjay joins us minutes before Sanchit. This also happens to be their first ever shoot together. It's been a busy 24 hours for the latter, who has been wrapping up projects before he heads out to catch the aurora borealis. “I am going to Rovaniemi, Santa Claus’ village,” he says excitedly. “He has a childlike innocence but is very grounded,” says Sanjay with obvious pride.
