Witnessing Meera Mukherjee and Jamini Roy's works, that too under one roof, is sheer delight. These pieces offered a look at Georg Lechner's impressive collection that he acquired through his close relationship with artists in 1960s Kolkata.

An intriguing aspect here was that the two artists were separated by a generation, the mediums they wielded and the artistic styles they're known for, but their work found common ground in folk tradition influences.
