Medicine

Surprisingly, your medicine cabinet isn’t the best place to store pills and vitamins. Heat and humidity can reduce their potency and cause them to expire early, according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Instead, keep medications in a cool, dry spot that’s out of reach of kids and pets, such as a hall closet or kitchen cabinet.
