Multifaceted Everest products help Elakadu Vasathi achieve its sustainable essence

Elakadu Vasathi is a beautiful farmhouse built using sustainable products in the green stretches of Western Ghats which is an ecologically sensitive zone. This exciting creation by architect James Joseph was awarded by the Indian Institute of Architects for its excellence in sustainability at a national level. Due to the importance of sustainability, Everest products were chosen for the project. They are lightweight, slim and durable, faster-to-erect making them easier to replace brickwork and blockwork. A blend of hollow drywall and readymade wall partitions were used as non-load bearing walls which provide the durability of brickwork and flexibility of drywall to accommodate for plumbing, electrical and other services.
