STYLE OF THE CENTURY

|September 2025
Honouring the history and heritage of the original home was top of mind when reimagining this sublime kitchen.
Shades of olive green, walnut and warm white set the tone for this serene kitchen located in a Sydney harbourside residence, originally designed in the late 1950s by iconic architect Harry Seidler. With Mid-century style at the heart of this home, the new kitchen needed to honour its grand beginnings. Interior designers Leah and Fliss Pitman from Bone Made were engaged to breathe new life into the kitchen. The kitchen also needed to coexist beautifully with the enchanting water views and leafy green surrounds of the home, so a bold, yet subdued colour palette with layered materiality and finishes was chosen. What do the designers love most about the finished kitchen? Harry Seidler would approve.
