Perhaps More Common Than Imagined?

When it comes to mummies, we usually think of ancient Egypt and its embalmed and desiccated bodies wrapped in linens. But dinosaurs? Dinosaur "mummies" have been discovered since the early days of dino excavations, perhaps most famously represented by the so-called "Edmontosaurus mummy" discovered in 1908 by Charles Sternberg. This duck-billed hadrosaur, residing in the American Museum of Natural History, was almost fully complete and articulated in three dimensions and had skin impressions wrapped all around it. It was presumed to have dehydrat
