Seventeen-year-old Tina Larissa Hausmann is forging her path in Formula racing, representing the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team as a PREMA Racing driver in the women-only racing series F1 Academy, while she balances school and constantly adapts to stay competitive on and off the track

At just 17, Tina Larissa Hausmann is only beginning to carve out a place in the world of motorsports. Her obsession with racing did not begin with family legacy nor tradition, but with a racekart that she stumbled upon at a car dealership when she was seven.

"My family had nothing to do with motorsports," she says, still amazed at how her obsession with racing took hold. One moment in that kart, and it felt like fate had taken over. "It was like magic. I just knew this was what I wanted to do with my life," she adds.

A decade later, the Swiss driver is steadily cutting her teeth in karting. She made her career debut in the Swiss Rotax Mini and Junior categories in 2019, before competing in the fiercely competitive ADAC Kart Masters in 2021. "I don't remember my first race, but I remember loving it, and even more than what I had done in the practice runs," she says.

By late 2022, Hausmann found herself strapped into a Formula 4 car, taking on her first test rounds. It was a moment of quiet reckoning - no fanfare, just the hum of the engine and the feel of a speedier, heavier vehicle. In 2023, she made her Formula racing debut in the inaugural season of the Formula Winter Series with the esteemed Italian team, AKM Motorsport.
