Louis Vuitton's new fragrance, with Miranda Kerr as the face, captures the essence of the beautiful Pacific coast

Louis Vuitton Parfums de Cologne depicts an alluring journey inspired by the spectacular scenery and extravagant beauty of America’s Pacific Coast. The newer addition to this collection, Pacific Chill, embodies a sense of well-being and exudes a cool and purifying vibe. It has been crafted to excite the senses and uplift the spirit, and deliver a detoxifying effect.

Master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud proposed the idea of a detox cologne and wellness fragrance to Alex Israel, an American multimedia artist, writer and eyewear designer. Belletrud found blackcurrant to have a truly interesting temperament held up by notes of cedrat and lemon. He amplified this with a blend of coriander, ambrette seeds, basil, peppermint and orange essence. In his quest to perfect it, he extracted an essence developed in Grasse from the carrot seed, with creamy, velvety accents of apricot, date and fig. Belletrud, then, added a hint of May rose for floral sweetness and that’s how Pacific Chill was born.
