CLASSICS MAJOR The Aldus collection, created by Rome's Achille Salvagni, principal designer of his eponymous atelier, and his cousin Fabio Gnessi, an architect, revels in the rich history of their home city. Objects and emblems from the ancient civilization—such as acanthus leaves, laurel blooms, and a wolf—are interpreted across a series of decorative objects with a wholly contemporary perspective. CHAIN REACTION Architect and designer Sarah Emilie Müllertz takes a principled, slow-fashion approach to her Copenhagen-based jewelry brand Kinraden. Minimalist and subtly sculptural, each piece is finely crafted from 100 percent recycled precious metals and Mpingo blackwood—a material often found in woodwinds. In August, the brand celebrated a milestone, reopening its flagship concept store in its home city during Copenhagen Fashion Week.
