A huge moment is upon Shona and David, who are excited about having their baby scan.

But the big day gets off to a bad start and hurtles down to a horrendous end when a serious problem surfaces.

Shona ends up arriving at the hospital courtesy of her sister-in-law Sarah, unaware AWOL David has had another ding-dong with Kit and been arrested!

David manages to talk his sister’s copper boyfriend round and turns up just in time. As their baby’s image flicks up on to the monitor, to their horror, there’s a mass on the teeny tot’s neck.
