England football ace Jill Scott retired from the beautiful game last year, going out on a high after winning the UEFA Women’s Euros with the Lionesses.

Now, the former Manchester City midfielder is pulling on her boots again to take part in star-spangled annual fundraiser Soccer Aid, being held at Old Trafford this Sunday and airing live on ITV1.

Newcomer Jill will captain an England XI side that includes fellow debutants Tom Hiddleston and Danny Dyer, and is comanaged by actor Vicky McClure, rapper Stormzy, Chelsea Women manager Emma Hayes and ex-Tottenham Hotspur FC coach Harry Redknapp.

They face a World XI squad once again skippered by Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt, and managed by new Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino, Ireland legend Robbie Keane, plus Vicky’s
