Jetting off to the sun-soaked Caribbean for a festive holiday would be a dream for many of us. But in this year's seasonal edition of BBC1's hit whodunnit Death in Paradise, the celebrations come to an abrupt end for four British coworkers when they find a stranger dead in the pool of their villa...

As tenacious DI Mervin Wilson (Don Gilet) and his colleagues, including Officer Sebastian Rose (Shaquille Ali-Yebuah), investigate, the case takes a peculiar turn: the murder weapon is found locked in a drawer in Swindon. So how could it have been used in a killing on the (fictional) island of Saint Marie?
