Shona KIDNAPPED!

David Platt thought he was proper clever when he nabbed the bag of dirty cash that Damon Hay had left for Sarah - with the unexpected windfall, he was able to buy No.8 from Gail. He's not quite so smug now, though, is he? The money, it transpired, belonged to Harvey Gaskell, Damon's brother, and the incarcerated gangster wants it back. With interest. Harvey has already made threats to David, via his stooges on the outside, and this week he ups the ante and has Shona kidnapped.

Shona doesn't imagine that she can come to any harm on the short walk from home to work, but unbeknown to her, a fella's spying on her from a nearby van. As she leaves the house, the cafe worker is bundled into the vehicle, which heads off at high speed as her phone is chucked into the gutter.
