Since snowboarding was first included in the Winter Olympics in 1998, Team GB has won two medals across the sport's various disciplines – from the daredevil tricks of big air, halfpipe and slopestyle to the high-speed spills and thrills of snowboard cross.

This week, we have a great chance to add to that tally when some of Team GB's most-fancied medal contenders compete in Milano Cortina.

On Tuesday, all eyes will be on former women's slopestyle world champion Mia Brookes. Aged just 19, the Cheshire snowboarder is making her Olympics debut but is among the favourites to top the podium after finishing first at the X Games in January and looks set to battle it out with New Zealand's reigning Olympic champion Zoi Sadowski-Synnott.
